November 2021

– A fantastic weekend with Lars Petersen! All horses and riders benefited from their rides with Lars. We are looking forward to having him back in the spring of 2022!!

March 2017

– Another wonderful and successful Henk van Bergen Clinic at CB Walker Stables, Bedford Hills!! Below are some pictures of some of our students and horses taking lessons with Henk. His fine tune focus to detail and absolute expertise is remarkable. We are lucky to have him help us on a regular basis! Thank you Henk!

February 2015

– Back by popular demand! CBD sponsored the Balance – Stability – Core Workshop with Nancy Bogel again this year! We will have another session hopefully February 22 (depending on the weather). All participants learned how to effectively engage their core both on and off the horse. “Front, back, neutral.” Curious? Come to the next session!!

May 2014

– Our “Fix-A-Test” was an amazing learning experience for all who participated and for those who watched as well! Ann Guptill is a talented and efficient teacher and all riders came away with something to work on as well as a vastly improved second test. She will be back for another clinic/fix-a test soon! We can’t wait!!!

March 2014

– Courtney’s Core and Balance Workshop with guest speaker Nancy Bogel, Certified Personal Trainer, was a huge success! Participants spent the first hour working with Nancy and learning how to “find your core.”  Participants learned different exercises and most importantly that using your core doesn’t require big movements, it is the awareness of your body that allows you to use your core most effectively.  The second hour was spent on horseback putting the previous hour’s learning to work. The core was tested over poles, in Courtney’s “core shredding” circle, and through weaving in and outs. The 12 horses participating all deserve gold stars for their excellent behavior as well as the riders’ great sense of humor and desire to learn more to advance their riding ability.
